South Herts Golf Club wishes to uphold a simple dress code on and off the golf course which it expects all members, their guests and visitors follow. Meeting the below stated simple principles will remove the need for any possible embarrassment during your time at South Herts. All members of staff, have committee permission, to address any concerns regarding the implementation of the expected dress code, and will where necessary, offer advice on any alterations which are needed. Please note: that on occasions the Captain on their absence the General Manager or member of Main Committee may look to relax such stated dress rules.
Collared shirts must be worn
Roll/Crew/Turtle/V-Neck/Hooded jumpers/tops may be worn
Tailored trousers/shorts
Golf Shoes must be worn on the Vardon Course
Outer clothing to protect against inclement weather may be worn
Please Note: Denim Jeans are not permitted on the course
Smart casual clothing is expected from non-golfers
Golfers may wear clean golf attire as per the on course standards
Golf Shoes are only permitted when accessing the coffee machine

No golf equipment or storage items should be brough through the bar or lounge
South Herts Golf Club was founded by the Committee and members of Muswell Hill Golf Club.
The 18-hole 6,435 yards Vardon Course is one of the longer courses in the local area.
Pro staff are always happy to advise members and visiting golfers on the most appropriate equipment.
The Vardon Course was originally designed by the twice Open winner Willie Park Junior.
The bars and lounges provide comfortable surroundings in which to enjoy a drink with friends after a game.
